Eastfield Signal Box

Signal box. Built in 1894 by the Great Northern Railway, frame said to have been replaced in 1940. London stock brick base with a timber upper storey and slate roof.

Bridge over Stanground Lode to N of S Street

Dated 1790. Small brick round arched footbridge, single span. Stone keyblock on south side with date 1790. The parapets have been rebuilt recently in brick to a large extent. RCHM (2) page 74.

C18. Rubble. Pantile roof, 4 brick chimneys. Road elevation is of 1 storey, now modernised with 4 windows and lean to against north wall. Formerly Parish Workhouse, then a school (RCHM). Occupier gives date of 1782.
