Set within peaceful grounds, the village church of Great Milton was mostly rebuilt in the early 14th century. The building is thus predominately Early English, but some Norman features can still be seen.

Standing directly opposite Great Milton Church, the Great House has a fine Georgian facade of around 1720. The back of the house dates from the 17th century; an addition on the south side is dated 1788 and attributed to James Wyatt.
