SP3003-3103 BAMPTON CHURCH CLOSE (South-west side) 13/65 Chest tomb to Groves family in Churchyard of St. Mary's, c.25m S of S aisle GV II Chest tomb. Limestone ashlar. Moulded base, cornice lid and top; moulded inscription panels, south flanked by panelled pilasters, north with fluted pilasters. Shaped end panels. Inscriptions to William Groves, 1794 and George Groves, 1799.
