CHIPPING NORTON WEST STREET SP 3026-3126 (east side) 4/78 The Kings Arms Hotel GV II Public House. C17, refronted in the late C18 of coursed and squared rubblestone and some dressed stone quoining with a steeply pitched slate roof and end brick stacks, that to the N with a moulded stone base. L-shaped plan at the corner of 2 roads. Two storeys and attic, 4-window range. Two segmental headed dormers with 2-pane casements above eaves line. Upper windows are 12-pane sashes, ground floor windows are also sashed and linked by a flush ashlar string course. Double, glazed and battened C20 door in 3rd bay from the left. Side wing at an angle has similar sashed fenestration to ground and first floors (2-light wooden casement above ; these windows are not original whereas those facing West Street are).
