EYNSHAM MILL STREET SP4309 (East side) 14/139 No.38 (Redthorn House) 12/09/55 (Formerly listed as Redthorn House)

GV II

House. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; hipped stone slate roof; brick ridge stacks. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys; 6-window range. Flat stone arch and C18 bracketed flat hood over C18 panelled and glazed door in second bay from right. Flat stone arches over three C18 leaded cross windows over door, similar C20 windows, and late C18/early C19 six-pane sash right of door. Right end wall has flat stone arches over blocked door and two C18 one-light leaded casements, and a C18 hipped roof dormer with moulded cornice. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
