BROAD STREET 1. 1485 (North Side) Nos 48 & 49 SP 5106 SW 8/143 12.1.54. II GV 2. Shop. C20 refronted with a 3-storeyed stuccoed front with rusticated quoins and a moulded cornice in a C18 style but an older core. There is a Welsh slate hipped roof in which is a gabled attic dormer. In each floor are 2 3-sided bays with sashes with glazing bars in moulded wood frames with moulded architraves. The back portion of the building is modern.

Nos 48 to 53 (consec) form a group with trinity and Balliol Colleges.
