GREENHEAD B 6318 NY 66 NE (North side, off) Allolee 11/73 Allolee Farmhouse II

Farmhouse. Probably mid C18, extended in early C19. Squared stone; graduated stone-tiled and slate roofs; stone chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 wide bays. Rubble plinth and roughly-squared quoins. C19 gabled stone porch with 4-panel door and overlight at right. Small re-set stone with Roman lettering in sunk panel to left of porch. Blocked doorway with alternating jambs at left flanked by C20 3-light windows. Replaced sash in right end bay. 3 replaced sashes in small openings immediately below eaves. Stone-tiled roof. Left end and ridge stacks with water tables. Single-storey, 2-bay range on left has replaced sash and slate roof. Single-storey outshut on rear with partly stone-tiled and partly slated pent roof. Interior: 2 pairs of boxed-in upper crucks of heavy scantling. Single-storey farmbuilding on right is not of special interest.
