BEDWIN STREET 1. 1594 (South Side) No 30 SU 1430 SE 2/229 28.2.52 II GV 2. Late C18. 2 storeys red brick on projecting plinth. Moulded brick string course. Gable end old tile roof, boxed eaves. Symmetrical 3 window front, centre blind. Sashes 4 panes wide in flush architrave frames. Rubbed brick arches and painted keystones to ground floor. Centred door of 6 fielded panels in moulded frame with panelled pilasters, panelled doorhead, plain frieze and flat moulded hood. Interior: room to rear has late C18 panelling. Good fireplace. Some panelling on cupboards and doors early C18 re-used or possibly house of that date but rehandled.

Frowd's Almshouses, Nos 26 to 34 (even) & Taylor's Almshouses form a group.
