The Chapel of Henry VI (1503-09) replaced the Lady Chapel at the east end of Westminster Abbey. It was intended to house the shrine of Henry VI (d. 1437), Henry VII, his wife, Elizabeth of York (d. 1503), and his mother, Margaret Beaufort.
