In the early 80's I was the landlord of the Artillery Arms public house opposite graveyard. When the cellar was re-furbished the outline of a door was noted in the cellar wall facing the graveyard, an old woman customer who lived locally said it was a local tale that the doorway led to one of the tombs. As a big brave chap I decided to leave it alone !

In the early 1980s I worked in an office located at Bunhill Row and on many an occasion would spend my lunch break at Bunhill Fields and found it most relaxing after a busy morning at the office!
