Historic Elsinore Theatre

Designed to resemble the castle in Shakespeare's Hamlet, the Elsinore Theater was completed in 1926 and considered the finest theater between Portland and San Francisco. Its first shows were silent movies and vaudeville acts.

Built in 1929, this hotel reopened in 2018 after extensive renovation by the Keady family. Its stylish boutique rooms feature handcrafted wood and cast-iron decoration.

Currin Covered Bridge

This covered bridge with red-painted sides was built in 1925 and closed to traffic in 1987. It has been preserved alongside a newer bridge and provided with pedestrian access.

This unique, pale-pink church was built in 1925 as the second Congregational church on the site. It has been a member of the Unitarian Universalist denomination since 1961.

United Artists Theater

Opened in December 1927, the United Artists Theater was designed by C. Howard Crane to resemble the medieval Spanish architecture enjoyed by patron Mary Pickford on a trip to Europe.
