  • Friern Hospital London, England

    S W Daukes of Cheltenham Foundation Stone laid 8 May 1849. Opened July 1851. Originally known as the Colney Hatch Asylum it was renamed in 1937. The complex is dominated by a central block with 2 towers and an octagonal dome, flanked by long wings.

  • Victoria Maternity Hospital London, England 1888

    Three bay C18 house with early C19 stucco refronting to form 7 bay symmetrical facade. Two storeys. Sash windows with glazing bars. Much flat moulding; drafting to ground storey; framing pilaster strips.

  • 1300 Park Portland, Oregon

    Completed in 2009 and named for Portland pioneer William Sargeant Ladd, whose historic Carriage House stands next to it.

  • Montecito Apartments Los Angeles, California c. 1932

    Dating from the early 1930s, the Montecito was the temporary home of James Cagney, Mickey Rooney, George C. Scott, and, according to some, a young Ronald Reagan. Recently restored after much neglect in the 1980s, it now houses senior citizens.

  • El Cadiz Apartments Los Angeles, California

    This apartment building was depicted as the home of Sydney Bristow and her roommate Francie in the first two years of the ABC show "Alias" (2001-03), and of Jennifer Lopez' character in "Monster-in-Law" (2005).
