  • Trier Cathedral Treasury Trier, Germany 1480

    Occupying a small room inside Trier Cathedral, this treasury displays some of Europe's greatest relics - including a nail from the Crucifixion and a sandal of St. Andrew - along with important religious art from a variety of periods.

  • Aachen Cathedral Treasury Aachen, Germany

    Located a block from the cathedral, the Aachen Treasury is a must-see. It contains numerous golden medieval reliquaries and other important religious artworks.

  • Conques Treasury Conques, France 1911

    The south gallery of the Conques Abbey cloisters is home to a small treasury, whose star exhibit is the remarkable Shrine of St. Foy.

  • Jewel Tower London, England

    Also known as the Jewel House and the King's Privy Wardrobe, the Jewel Tower was built in 1364 to hold King Edward III's treasures. It is one of only two surviving buildings of the medieval Palace of Westminster and contains a 14th-century vault.
