    The Monument was erected in the 1670s to commemorate the devastation wrought by the Great Fire of London in 1666. It can be climbed for fine views of London.

    Created in 2003 by Liverpool sculptor Tom Murphy, this statue commemorates Billy Fury (1940-83), one of Britain's most successful rock and roll musicians.

  • Huss Stone

    This inscribed stone in the western outskirts of Constance marks the place where Jan Hus, a Czech religious reformer, was burned at the stake in 1415.

  • Arch of Titus Rome, Italy

    Built near the entrance to the Roman Forum in 81 CE, this triumphal arch is perhaps best known for its relief depicting the destruction and looting of the Jerusalem Temple by the Romans in 70 CE.
