Baptismal font in the center of the baptistery. It is ancient but not the original one, which would have been a large octagonal font. This tub-like font is made of green basalt and bears bas-reliefs of the baptism of Christ and the baptism of Constantine. San Giovanni in Laterano (Lateran Baptistery), Rome, Italy.
