Daniel Webster Law Office and Library Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA

Description
old-fashioned flower design element

Statesman, legal scholar, and orator Daniel Webster championed the Union throughout his multifaceted career. His famous Senate proclamation against nullification still rings loud and clear: "Liberty and Union, now and forever, one and inseparable." Webster used this one-room clapboard building as his natural history library and law office. It stood on his Green Harbor estate, his home away from Washington from 1832 to 1852.
