13th century, mentioned 1214/33. Ruin, rectangular plan 45' x 18' 9" internally, single lancet W. gable, 3 stepped lancets E. gable; side walls much broken down apparently doorways N. W. and S.W. Roughly-built of rubble robbed of its dressings.

John Willet engineer, James Abernethy ironfounder 1854. 2 cast iron arched spans of over 100', cast in 4 sections and bolted, cross-stayed below; arcaded spandrels, wooden deck and parapets. Granite approaches and centre pier of distinctive outline.

Early 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay cottage. Frontage rendered and lined as ashlar, coloured harl elsewhere. Centre entrance, small windows with 2-pane glazing. Single end stack; pantiled roof with slate easing course.

Modified Z plan tower house, four-storey with vaulted basement. Harl and slate, rounded and corbelled angles. Inset stone over door dated 1576. Deserted since 1948.
