  • Keepers Cottage Settle, England

    Cottage. C17. Slobbered rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Entrance to left of centre has chamfered surround and a broad hood consisting of a stone slate slab supported by a corbel on either side of the lintel; C20 door.

  • Primrose Cottage Settle, England

    Formerly barn to Primrose House (qv), now two cottages and two flats. Coursed rubble stone dressings, stone slate roof. Mid to late C17 with late C18, C19 and C20 alterations.

    Formerly cottage and barn, now untenanted cottage. Late C17. Rubble, stone dressings slate roof. 2 storeys 2 bays. Left hand entrance at end of terrace has plain lintel with plank door and C20 fanlight.

    Former cotton mill, now paper store. c.1830. Rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. 4 storeys, 13 bays. Left-hand entrance to ground floor; right-hand entrance to winder stairs. Some windows have original 30 pane lights remaining, rest are C20.
