Last Judgment Mosaic: Virgin Mary

Lunette over the west door depicting the Virgin Mary with hands lifted in prayer, with the inscription, "O, Virgin, move with your prayers the Son of God and purify us of your sins." Above is the Archangel Michael weighing souls, with interferance from two devils, as part of the mosaic of the Last Judgment on the counterfacade (west wall). 11th century.
