Oregon Coast and Wedding Church Revisited

We drove down to Lincoln City yesterday and the weather was beautiful. Along the way, we made a quick stop at the Old Scotch Church, where we got hitched way back in 2004. It looked a lot prettier in the sunshine than on that rainy day almost five years ago!

The Old Scotch Church is one of the oldest churches in Oregon, built in 1878 by 12 settlers from Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Its style is called Carpenter Gothic, which is a modest North American form of Gothic Revival architecture using wood.
