Railway viaduct erected 1847 by the Glasgow, Barrhead and Neilston Direct Railway, engineer Neil Robson, Glasgow. Built of large rusticated ashlar blocks, 3 arches, 2 nearest west are wide and skewed, spanning Levern Water; the 3rd arch (nearest east), over minor roadway is a simple round arch with brick soffit.
