West elevation; inner bay shallow advanced, taller, and gabled, with piended porch. 2 piended canted dormers. Apex stacks. Wings both 3 bays with inner door. Mostly small-paned sash windows. Slate roofs. Rear stair turret. Walled garden to east linked to house.

Loban was brought to Barra for "estimating manse" and the design is probably his.
