First African Baptist Church Saint Marys, Camden County, Georgia, USA

Spiritual and Social Hub of the Settlement The heart and soul of the community, this church was established in 1893 by the residents of Half Moon Bluff, a Freedmen Settlement on Cumberland Island. The current structure, built in 1937, replaced the original building and was moved east to the center of the Settlement creating a place for worship and social gatherings.
