ODD RODE C.P. CHANCE HALL LANE SJ 85 NW 7/70 Pump House - - II

House. C17. Timber framed with painted brick infill and a plain tile roof. Road front; to right is a projecting gabled wing with 6 x 3 cells of uneven small-framing with angle braces and three-light C19 casement windows to ground and first floors. Jettied gable with chamfered bressumer and timber framed gable. The range to left of this has small-framed walling with a C19 1/2-glazed door at right and a 3-light C19 casement window. Massive chimney stack to the ridge with extension of C19 brick above. The right hand side has 7 x 3 cells of small-framing with angle braces to right and left and to the fourth upright from left and one 2-light C19 casement window to the ground floor. To right of this is a recessed C19 wing. The left hand side has a gabled wing at right with 5 x 3 cells of small-framing with angle braces and a timber framed gable above. This has 2-light ground and first floor windows with a single light window to the gable. Slightly recessed and at left of this is a C19 extension with a doorway at right and at left a 2-light ground floor and 2-light first floor window with a gable above. Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor rooms.
