SP3251 SOUTHAM STREET, Kineton 1901-1/13/116 (East side) 05/04/67 Woodfield

2 houses, now one. C17 with C20 restorations and additions. Narrowly coursed limestone rubble with ironstone ashlar dressings and some brick; steeply pitched old tile roof with 2 brick cross-axial stacks. PLAN: 3-unit plan extended to 4-unit plan by C20 bay to right end. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; 5-window range. Top cogged brick cornice. Entrance to left of centre has single-chamfered opening to 4-panel door (2 panels flush). Windows have recessed-chamfered mullioned windows: ground floor has group of three 2-light windows to centre, that to right being in former entrance, and end 4-light windows; addition has 3-light window; first floor has 3-light windows; most with lead cames, crown glass; wrought-iron casement fasteners. 2 gabled roof dormers have 2-light leaded casements. C20 brick right gable end; window to each floor and loading door to attic. Rear has continuous lean-to outshut under mullioned windows; addition to left end is brick. INTERIOR: not inspected.
