Farmhouse. 1828 for Carnaby Haggerston. Ashlar with welsh slate roof. 3 x 2 bays with service wing to rear forming an L. Central staircase plan, double range. Round arched central doorway with slightly projecting key stone. Fanlight with glazing bars. Datestone above door.

C H (carving of lion) 1828

12-pane sashes on ground floor,renewed sashes above, 12-pane sashes to rest of house and round-arched staircase window. Gabled roof, end stacks.

Good early C19 interior with original staircase, inner doorway with 6-panelled door and glazed side lights, broad fanlight over. Internal shutters and 6- panelled doors.
