ATHERSTONE FRIARS GATE SP3097 (South-east side) 9/37 St. Mary's House GV II House. Mid/late C18. Rendered, with moulded cornice. Plain-tile double-span roof; C20 rendered end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Flush 6-panelled door and overlight with glazing bars, and hood on shaped brackets. Large C19 canted bay to left has 4-pane sashes. 16-pane and central 12-pane sashes have moulded frames. 4 mid C20 gabled roof dormers. Interior not inspected.
