House. Early C19, and later C19. Painted brick with slate roof. Three storeys and cellar, with later extension to right, colourwashed stone, 2-storeys and one bay. House of double pile plan with central stair hall. Facade has raised quoins and plat bands. Central 6-panelled door, the upper panels glazed, within a modest Tuscan portico. Canted 12-pane sash windows to ground floor, 12-pane sashes to upper floors but 8-pane sash at centre. Two storey C18-early C19 ashlar limestone porch added to rear, with moulded door head and fielded side panels, probably assembled from redundant elements. Roof hipped with brick stacks to gables. Added bay to right has 3-light moulded stone windows with leaded lights to both floors, and a tall brick stack. Outbuildings of brick extend to right, including C19 bake-brewhouse.
