CASSINGTON WORTON SP41SE 11/43 The Old Rectory and attached outbuilding - II Rectory, now house. Early C17, enlarged c.1840. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; brick end stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range to double-gabled front. Timber lintels over C20 casements and 2-light wood-mullioned windows to attic; segmental stone arch over ground-floor window to right, set within part of wall rebuilt in mid C19. Mid C19 outbuilding set behind tall stone rubble wall with stone slate coping. Two 2-storey ranges of similar materials and of early C19 date and c.1840 to rear: cambered stone arch over C19 four-panelled door with overlight and 8-pane sashes with brick dressings to left side wall; main door is to right. Interior not inspected.
