POLESWORTH HIGH STREET SK2OSE (South side) 5/94 Polesworth Congregational Church

Nonconformist chapel. Dated 1828. Flemish bond brick, Old plain-tile roof. 2 storeys; 3 bays. Tall narrow symmetrical front has pediment with moulded brick modillions and painted stone inscribed 'INDEPENDENT CHAPEL'. 6-panelled dour has reeded and gadrooned wood surround with moulded corner panels and cornice. Round arched iron windows with glazing bars. Painted incised datestone. Return sides are roughcast and have gables. Interior not inspected. (Buildings of England. Warwickshire: p374)
