GV II

House, now divided. Early-mid C19 front. Freestone, formerly painted, slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 windows, wide paned sashes on 1st floor, late C19 shop-front on ground floor with pilaster-strips, glazing bars and central entry. Alleyway entrance to right - the alley is ashlar built on right-hard (Golden Pheasant q.v.) side. Tudor arched inner doorway with moulded surround and panelled spandrels, above is a bressumer and string and a C16-looking window. Long 2-storey extension to rear including Meath and Tor Cottages. Interior: wide chamfered beams.
