CROWLE CP CLIMER'S HILL SO 95 NW 6/19 Outbuilding about 30 yards south of Friesland Farmhouse - II Granary, now haybarn and store. C17, altered mid-C19. Timber-framed with part brick, part rendered infill, brick replacement walling, some weatherboarding to south-west elevation and plain tiled roof. Two plus one framed bays aligned north-east/south-west, the bay at the north-east end is a mid-C19 addition. Framing: three square panels from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in lower corners of older part, gable end trusses not visible externally. North- east elevation facing farmyard has double doors inserted in the central bay and interrupting the left brace; upper row of panels is rendered. Loft doors in gable ends. North east elevation has two ledged and battened doors in the older part and a loft door in the C19 bay. Interior: roof has collar and tie-beam trusses with struts and a single tier of trenched purlins.
