SK38SE GLEADLESS ROAD 784-1/10/355 (North East side) Former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel

Wesleyan Methodist chapel, now engineering works. Dated 1826. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings, some painted, and slate roof with coped gables. Single stone gable stack and external brick side wall stack. Single storey; 4 bays. Off-centre close boarded double door with wooden surround, flanked to left by a round-arched glazing bar sash and to right by 2 similar windows. Above the door, a largely illegible inscribed tablet. Blank gable ends. At the rear, a doorway and 2 altered round-headed windows.
