LANDEWEDNACK CHURCH COVE SW 71 SW 9/65 Church Hall GV II Sunday School, circa 1880s. Rubble stone with granite quoins, lintels and dressings. Walls rendered in part slate roof. Tall rubble stone stepped chimney in angle with granite quoins. Originally housed school bell. L-shaped plan. Entrance porch on south side of east wing supported by 2 granite monolith piers with square bases and capitals corbelling into octagonal shafts. Roof trusses exposed. Ornate wrought iron hinges todoor. Line of 3 square windows on east side of south wing. 3 windows under 4-centred arches on gable end of south wing with diamond windows above. 2 windows under 4-centred arches on gable end of east wing. Tall rectangular window above. North elevation: one 3-light window in a rectangular surround on the east side and 3 windows under 4-centred arches on west side. Surmounted by an asymmetrical gable. West elevation: roof slopes down with three 3-light windows in rectangular surround just below the eaves. (Interior not inspected).
