The ground storey, windows and doorways have semi-circular gauged brick arches, The outer ends, each of 1 window range and doorway, and the centre part break forward slightly, A raised brick band runs between the storeys.

LONDON ROAD 1. 885 (South East Side) BRAINTREE Nos 35 and 37 TL 7522 1/127 II GV 2. A pair of early C19 buff coloured gault brick houses, 2 storeys and basements, 4 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals. The ground storey, windows and doorways have semi-circular gauged brick arches, The outer ends, each of 1 window range and doorway, and the centre part break forward slightly, A raised brick band runs between the storeys. 6-panel doors with semi-circular fanlights with ornamental glazing have quarter columns in the reveals. The doors are approached by stone steps with ornamental iron railings. Roofs slate, hipped.

Nos 19 to 37 (odd) and Nos 41 to 45 (odd) form a group.
