PARISH OF REPTON HIGH STREET SK 30/3127 SK 30/3126 6/58 (West Side) No 30 'St Wystan's' GV II

House. Early C19. Red brick, partly rendered. Plain tile roof with one brick ridge stack. Three storeys. East elevation of four bays. First and second floor sill bands, moulded cornice. Off-centre doorway with wooden doorcase with shallow hood on consoles. Raised and fielded panelled door. Flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes in moulded architraves. Doorway to left again with moulded architrave and plank door. Four glazing bar sashes above in moulded architraves. Above again is an oval traceried window in rectangular moulded architrave. To the right is a small glazing bar sash with moulded jambs. Two similar windows to left. The rear elevation has a tall staircase window. Interior: Closed string stick baluster staircase with ramped handrail. Delicate turned newels and moulded pendants. Exposed beams. The north end suggests the remodelling of a C17 house.
