PARISH OF REPTON WELL LANE SK 30/3127 SK 30/3126 6/86 (North Side) 2.9.52 Danesgsate II House. C18 and early C19. Cottage orne style. Painted brick with plain tile roof. Hipped Welsh slate roof to rear. Two stacks in the pitch of the roof with decorative circular chimneypots. Two storeys. South elevation of three plus two bays. Central gabled porch with decorative bargeboards, chamfered four-centred arch to south and plain four-centred arches to sides. Studded and panelled door. Flanked on each side by tall canted bay windows surmounted by a continuous lean-to roof with decorative valancing. Central cross window above with wedge brick lintel. Flanked on each side by 3-light mullioned windows under flat arches, the lights with round- arched heads. Moulded mullions. Central gable above, and across it at eaves level, a carved wooden frieze. Two bays set back to right have two glazing bar sashes to each floor. To the west, a conservatory and above it a canted oriel. Similar oriel to east.
