House. Late C17, altered C20. MATERIALS: red brick in Flemish bond, old tile gabled roof. PLAN: long rectangular plan. EXTERIOR: single storey and attic. One chimney on left gable. C20 leaded casement windows. Entrance (south-east) front: central gable with projecting enclosed entrance porch, one single light window each side of gable and 2 smaller windows above. Clock in gable, dated 1698 and above a bell turret. On left of this, two 3-light windows, on right 3 windows of 2:1 and 3-lights. All windows on this front have wooden lintels. Clock was originally in the tower of the Church of St Mary, Church Lane, Winkfield (qv). INTERIOR: not inspected. (Victoria County History : VOL III: 85).
