House and barn, now large house with barn used as store, linked to house. Late C16, C17, much altered and extended C20. MATERIALS: part brick in Flemish bond, part timber frame with brick infill, part timber frame encased in brick. Old tile gabled roofs of different heights, half-hipped old tile roof to barn. PLAN: L-plan, barn on left of 3 framed bays, now linked to house with C17 build. EXTERIOR: single storey, one and a half storeys and 2 storeys. 4 chimneys. Late C19 and C20 casement windows, some leaded. Road front, south-east, irregular with scattered fenestration. Barn on left has timber frame exposed on high brick plinth. Linking section of 2-bays with two 4-light dormers flush with wall and breaking eaves. Entrance with gabled hood below, now glazed. To right, single bay section and to right that and taller 2-bay section with 4-light and 2-light window on 1st floor. Half glazed entrance door below with gabled hood, and 2-light window on each side. To right 3-bay projection with coped gable. Gable has 2 small single light windows on each floor. INTERIOR: not inspected.
