MARKET PLACE 1. 5397 SP 5075 SW (west side) 1/134A No 14 GV II 2. House and shop, now shop, c.1860. Flemish bond red brick with stone and polychromatic brick dressings; gabled slate roof; brick end stacks. Double- depth plan. High Victorian Gothic style. 3 storeys; 4-window range. C20 shop front. Polychromatic brick pointed-arched tympanum arches over paired plate-glass sashes set in shouldered-arched architraves with bracketed stone balconies; similar architraves to second-floor windows, with stone heads of arches linked to stone blocking course with bracketed cornice. Interior partially inspected: Included for group value.
