2 shops with offices and flats over. Late C18/early C19 to left (No.4), late C17/early C18 with early C19 alterations to right (No.2). To left (No.4) limestone ashlar now painted to front, coursed squared limestone rubble to left side (former internal wall), rear and single-storey extension to rear; double mansard roof Welsh slate with artificial slate to internal slopes, small gabled roof between mansards corrugated asbestos, single-storey extension to rear has stone slate hipped roof; ashlar left and right end stacks to front roof, concrete blockwork right end stack to rear roof. To right (No.2) stucco to front and rear, over timber-framing to front; artificial slate roof; no visible stack. To left (No.4) 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 2-window range. First floor has two 2/2- 6/6- 2/2-pane triple sashes with stone mullions in form of pilasters with paterae to friezes and matching half-pilasters to left and right within plain reveals; second floor has 2 similar windows with paterae left uncarved; ground floor has C19 shopfront with C20 alterations, with 2- and 3-light windows with moulded mullions with leaf tops and bases and moulded cill flanking recessed glazed door, C20 plastic fascia. One single-light flat-topped dormer and one C20 rooflight. Moulded stone eaves cornice and coped parapet; lead pipe to centre front. To right (No.2) 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 2-window range. First floor has two 6/6-pane sashes in reeded timber surrounds with roundel corners; second floor has 2 similar windows. Ground floor has C19 timber shopfront with C20 alterations, with plate glass window and door in surround of broad pilasters with heavy console brackets, frieze and modillion cornice. Two C20 rooflights. Boxed-out eaves. Left side (No.4) former internal wall has C20 windows and door to ground floor, no windows above; rear (No.4) has one 6/6-pane horned sash to first floor, two 3/6-pane sashes and one blind window to second floor, single-storey extension with C20 windows and door to ground floor; 2 segmental topped dormers with C20 top-hung windows; rear of 2 has one early C18 6/6-pane sash in flat beaded surround with keyed lintel and projecting cill and one small single-light window to first floor; C20 glazed door in C20 lean-to porch to ground floor; one C20 rooflight; C20 plank door to cellar down concrete steps to left. INTERIORS not inspected. Former internal wall to left (No.4) exposed C20, date unknown, by demolition of neighbouring buildings.
