ALCESTER PRIORY ROAD SP0857 (East side) 4/129 Lord Nelson Inn 01/02/67 (Formerly listed as under The Priory)

Public house. Early/mid C19. Brick; ground floor and left return side colourwashed. Wood eaves cornice with paired shaped brackets. Slate roof; brick ridge stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Central half-glazed 4-panelled door, blocked internally, with simple moulded wood surround. 2 flanking cast iron columns support central section of continuous roof and fascia with dentil cornice over door and 2 canted bays. 16-pane sashes. First floor has rendered flat arches with rusticated voussoirs and keystones. Interior altered.
