ALCESTER PRIORY ROAD SP0857 (East side) 4/126 No.59 (Priory House) 01/02/67 (Formerly listed as under The Priory)

House. Late C17/early C18. Colourwashed brick with brick string course. Wood modillion cornice. Tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Central double-leaf 4-panelled door with overlight and moulded wood surround. Hood on carved scroll brackets; string course broken above. Cross windows with glazing bars, and sashes. Gauged brick flat arches. Ground floor windows on right replaced with single late C19 tripartite window with segmental brick arch. Small early/mid C19 colourwashed brick range to right has brick dentil cornice and 16-pane sashes. Blocked doorway and altered carriage entrance with doors. To rear: Some windows have cambered arches. Interior not inspected.
