Joseph Smith Memorial Building (Hotel Utah) Salt Lake City, Utah

Opened in 1911, the Beaux-Arts Hotel Utah was a rare cooperative venture of Mormons and non-Mormons, united by their wish for upscale lodgings in Salt Lake City. In 1993, it re-opened as the LDS-owned Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
