Beaufort Historic District Beaufort, South Carolina, USA

Beaufort ("Bew-furt") is the second oldest town in South Carolina and a "unique treasury of Southern American architecture." The district includes 475 contributing buildings on 304 acres, dating from the early-18th to mid-19th century.
