Sentinel Hotel (Seward Hotel) Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA

The Seward Hotel was built in 1909 in an innovative Renaissance/Arts and Crafts style. It was renamed the Governor Hotel in 1932 and since 2012 it has been part of the Sentinel Hotel (named for the robotic figures atop the facade).

Renovated and reopened in 1992, the Seward Hotel was built in 1909 and renamed the Governor Hotel in 1932. Its former entrance hall now contains Jake's Grill, where many original features of the Seward can be seen - including beautiful Art Deco skylights and the original mosaic floor.
