Valle dei Templi (Valley of the Temples) Agrigento, Italy
Just south of Agrigento in southwest Sicily is the Valley of the Temples, a World Heritage Site boasting the ruins of seven ancient Greek temples. Most of them date from the 5th century BCE and all are in Doric style.
