Porta Antica (Ancient Door) Trani, Italy

One of the oldest structures in Trani, the Porta Antica (Ancient Door) or Porta Aurea (Golden Door) is an arched stone gate built in the 9th century. Look for the huge stone hinges that once held the eponymous doors marking the entrance to the medieval Jewish quarter.
