- Old Fire Department building at Sioux Ordnance Depot Fire & Guard Headquarters on the NRHP since October 24, 1994. Among other things the depot stored gunpowder, so presumably the Fire Department was very important here. Near the junction of 1st Ave. and Military Rd. (some of the roads in the HD are hard to distinguish now) and near the former location of Western Nebraska Community College (water tower is left), west of Sidney, Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The depot is sorta used now as an industrial/commercial area, but is much bigger than the demand for such facilities.
