Exposure Information Date: 2012-07-25 Time: 15:02 Aperture: f16 Shutter: 1/15 Lens: Schneider Kreuznach Symmar-S 150mm f5.6 One of the highlights for me of the trip to visit Heather in Scotland was the proximity to one of my favourite examples of bold large-scale engineerig from the height of the golden age of industry in Britain. I am refering to the Forth Railway Bridge. From the first I ever set eyes on a picture of this structure I was mesmerized by it. Something in it speaks simultaneously of such great solid strength and such great poetry of form and elegance. When Heather told me that it was possible to get near the base of the bridge I was very excited. I went for a much brighter look here. Love the greens.
